PLEASE NOTE:- IMPORTANT NOTICE
ALL TROPHIES WHICH HAVE BEEN WON IN 2010 SHOULD BE RETURNED
AT THE APPROPRIATE TIMES. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN WINNERS NOT BEING
ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THIS YEARS TROPHIES AT THE END OF THE SEASON. THIS RULE
HAS BEEN ENFORECED 8 TIMES. WE HAVE A LIST OF PEOPLE WHO ARE ALREADY BANNED
FROM RECEVING ANY OF OUR TROPHIES. SO PLEASE TAKE NOTICE OF THIS RULE.

HEALTH & SAFETY
The Organisers of this Show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present.
For these measurers to be workable, everyone must take
all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must
obey the instructions of the Organisers, Officials and Stewards.

COLOURED HORSE AND PONY SOCIETY MAY 9th and JUNE
13th
THE CHAPS (UK) CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW QUALIFIER CLASSES.
CLASSES 3 and 11. These 2 classes for the 2 months are
Affiliated to CHAPS. Both owner and rider/exhibitor need not be a member of
CHAPS (UK) or horse/pony be registered with CHAPS(UK) but in order to qualify
they must both be Showing Members and the horse/pony must be Registered with
the Society BEFORE these shows for the qualification to be
valid. (except Ponies (UK)/BSPS qualifiers where Membership and Registrations,
if not already in place MUST be made withing 14 days of qualification for it
to be valid).See CHAPS Member's handbook or www.chapsuk.com for rulings. The
CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 29, 30th & 31st August.2008.
Members to apply in writing to CHAPS(UK) for appropriate qualifier card. All
Stallions entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS(UK) ID cards must
be carried in the ring for inspection.

PRESTIGE EQUINE EVENTS and EQUIFEST are holding
qualifiers for every Showing class at every show.

FORGE TROPHY. JUNE

The names of all Full Member Winners from this show will be put into a hat.
The name pulled out will be presented with the Forge Trophy at our Presentation
Evening.

BLACK COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP-CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY. SEPTEMBER
12th
All Full Member Winners in SHOWING Classes 1-27 will be eligible
to compete for the BLACK COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP SUPREME AND RESERVE TROPHIES
AND SASHES. This class will be after Class 27. There is no Entry Fee.
M.H.S. and Laura's Tack Box are donating £100 for the Supreme
Champion and £50 for the Reserve Champion. We thank them for their very
kind donation.

SUNDAY 13 JUNE 2010 There will be a special rosette
for the Best Tail in the show with an Annual Trophy to be presented
at our Presentation Evening in November. This has been kindly donated by Lesley
Gill. The trophy will be called 'The Mo Gill Trophy' open to
FULL MEMBERS ONLY.
GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION
1. The Committee
have the right to decide on matters arising, not covered below. Entry fees will
only be refunded at the discretion of the Committee.
2. The judges' decision is FINAL objections to be submitted
to the Secretary in writing before close of show.
3. RIDING HATS and riding footwear must be worn
at all times when mounted. All hats must meet PAS015, EN1384, (USA) 1163.
Earrings and Body Studs MUST NOT BE WORN.
4. All riders are expected to be properly attired in
all rings, (relaxed for Handy Pony and Gymkhana).
5 . No horse or pony under 4 years of age allowed to enter any riding event
6. Entries to lead rein classes are restricted to lead rein classes only on
the day of that show, with the exception of First Ridden Class.
7. Non-competitive entries allowed at judges' discretion.
8. Unless otherwise decided by the Committee, all horse/pony jumping classes
will be run to B.S.J.A. rules, and Showing Classes to B.S.P.S. rules.In ALL
classes held to B.S.P.S. Rules WHIPS are not to exceed 30",
hunting crops are permissible. The wearing of SPURS in ALL JUNIOR
classes held to B.S.P.S. Rules is forbidden.
9. It is the Competitor's responsibility to enter the ring when asked
to do so, failure to do so may lead to elimination from the Class unless the
Ring Steward has been informed of the circumstances. Competitors should note
that Classes do overlap, it is their responsibility to be available when required,
also NO abuse to Judge or Steward will be tollerated. The offenders
will be asked to leave the showground.
10. Riders must not GALLOP or CANTER amongst the horse boxes and spectators
in interest of safety. Offenders will be asked to leave the ground and no entry
money will be refunded.
11. The Show Organisers for this event hold liability insurance for any claim
that may be made against the event organisers. However all entrants must ensure
that they have personal liability insurance covering themselves and their ponies/horses
against any liability they may incur.
12. All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all
times.
13. Horses or Ponies must not be left unattended and tethered to horseboxes
or trailers.
14. Any horse or pony known to kick or misbehave must (a) wear a red
tail ribbon and (b) be kept away from other animals and spectators where practicable.
15. STALLIONS AND COLTS. The Owner or Authorised Agent or Rider must
take adequate precautions to ensure people and horses are not put at risk of
injury and must be bitted at all times for safety reasons.
16. Practice Fence must be jumped with red topped wing
on right only.
17. DO NOT under any circumstances clean out Horseboxes and Trailers
on the Showground. Any person found to be doing so will be charged £30
on the spot.
18. A fall of pony/horse or rider in any class will result in disqualification
and they MUST leave the ring dismounted, failing to adhere to this rule could
result in serious consequences.
19. The committee reserves the right to order off the field anyone
who in their opinion is found mistreating an animal.
